This year was full of surprises, and we found ourselves reflecting on some of our core philosophies. Partnership and integrity are two that have especially stood out to us this year.
While we made a conscious effort to keep our clients informed about the state of Spencer, we have seen our clients come forth with the utmost integrity about the state of their business as well.
This level of trust has been a fantastic reminder that our partnerships are invaluable.
We’ve been hard at work completing projects and planning for a prosperous 2021. Below we share 3 of the top highlights from the past year.
3 Spencer Highlights from 2020
1. Major POS Upgrade for Massive Retailer
Spencer assisted a Fortune 500 retailer upgrade their next-gen Point of Sale in nearly 2500 locations.
Our technicians visited each and every location to decommission the old system and install their new next gen of point of sale.
The conclusion of this project was a huge milestone of completion for both Spencer and the retailer to transition into a cloud-based tablet solution.
2. Global Expansion
Spencer has done a tremendous job focusing on global expansion in 2021. This year, we expanded our reach into many places outside the US, including Qatar, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Austria, Prague, Singapore, Switzerland, France, and more.
Our technicians’ ability to reach these international locations is a huge accomplishment. It’s important for us to provide top quality support for each of our clients, wherever they are.
3. New Customers
We’re excited to announce that we’ve forged some new partnerships in 2020.
This year, we’ve taken on a new grocery client that has over 500 store locations. Due to our W-2 technicians and system reporting, the grocery store saw true value in Spencer’s services.
We’re excited for a long-lasting partnership together, and to continue to prove ourselves as a valuable resource in 2021.
We also took on a global high fashion retailer who approached us with the interest of taking advantage of our recently expanded global reach.
In 2020, we had the opportunity to visit one of their retail locations in Qatar, and look forward to providing them quality solutions for years to come.
